An 18-year-old man was pulled from Lake Pueblo just before 1 p.m. Aug. 12.

CPR efforts conducted on a boat and on shore were unsuccessful.

If the presumed drowning is confirmed, it will be the 5th at Lake Pueblo this summer.

An 18-year-old man was pulled from Lake Pueblo just before 1 p.m. on Aug. 12 after Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers responded to a report of a possible drowning.

The report came in just before noon, according to a press release from state parks officials. A state parks boat crew with a Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office diver on board recovered the male victim and conducted CPR as the boat raced to emergency medical technicians onshore at N-1 Cove Beach.
