LOWELL, Mich. — It’s been 3 weeks since the deadly plane crash in Lowell which killed both men on board after it crashed into a storage facility.

13 ON YOUR SIDE is digged into the 911 calls made amid the tragedy — revealing what emergency crews and neighbors experienced as flames and smoke engulfed the scene.

911 dispatchers were flooded with calls just after 4:30pm on July 21 — witnesses describing a plane crashing near Lincoln Lake and Vergennes in Lowell.

“It's on fire. Yes, I can't see it from my house. I just see all the smoke,” said one caller over the phone.

“There's big plumes of black smoke. There's a bunch of people pulled over,” said another caller.

“There in the storage units. I heard an explosion or something and it's on fire over here,” said another caller.
