Always a well-attended event, the Museum of Surrey expects big crowds again for this year's Filipino Fest.

Set for Sept. 6, the popular cultural festival has attracted more than 1,500 people in the past and the museum's expecting another packed house for the 2025 edition of their one-day event.

“Each year, it is an honour to work with the Filipino community as they celebrate their traditions through performance, food, activities, vendors, and music,” Lynn Saffery, museum manager, said in a press release Aug. 12. "It is such an honour to showcase and celebrate their diverse cultures and heritage.”

The free festival is a family-friendly celebration of Filipino culture.
