COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Parsons Mounted Cavalry’s cannon wasn’t on hand for the Texas A&M football team’s scrimmage Saturday, but from all reports, the Aggie offense gave the M1902 field gun a run for its money.
“Explosive” was the buzzword that floated out of the mouths of offensive coordinator Collin Klein and players Tuesday, recapping the offensive output of the Aggies during their lone scrimmage of fall camp.
“I think we had more explosive plays in that scrimmage than we’ve had since we’ve been here, and I think they were getting excited with each other, watching each other make big, explosive plays,” Klein said. “I think that was really cool to see.”
