STILLWATER — Orange-clad students, graduates and other fans of Oklahoma State University, including many veterinarians from across the state, turned out on Tuesday to celebrate a planned state-of-the-art veterinary teaching hospital that holds promise to put OSU back at the forefront of veterinary medicine education in the United States.

OSU President Jim Hess said construction on a 255,000-square-foot facility will begin in the spring of 2026 and should take about 30 months to complete. Tulsa-based GH2 Architects will be responsible for the teaching hospital’s design. The chief contractor will be Manhattan Construction.
