PHOENIX — A man has died after a shooting involving U.S. Marshals in Chandler, the service announced.

On Tuesday, members of the U.S. Marshals Service’s WANTED Task Force were searching for a man who was wanted for a federal probation violation at a home in Chandler.

The suspect was seen leaving the home and was followed by members of the task force, who soon tried to pull the man over near the intersection of Price and Germann roads.

The man proceeded to try to flee. Members of the task force attempted to take the man into custody using less-lethal tools but were unsuccessful.
