ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - The 2025 Menard Eagles are set to be one of the most experienced teams in Cenla High School Football.

“We’ve got 19 seniors, and hopefully, that’s a good sign,” Menard Football head coach David Perkins said. “It’s very unusual for us to have that many seniors at a small school like this, so we have to take advantage of that.”

Many of this year’s seniors were sophomores two seasons ago when the Eagles won a District Championship.

“The last year we had this amount of seniors, we had a great year. So, I think having 19 seniors this year will allow us to do really well,” Menard senior quarterback Jake Vaughan said.

During the first two weeks of fall practices, the Eagles have been working hard to get ready for what they hope is a bounce-back season.
