ATLANTA — Days after employees and customers rushed into the back of Srithai: Thai Kitchen & Sushi Bar, hiding from an active shooter near the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, things were much quieter.

Anthony, who is a server at the restaurant, said things haven't been the same since that day. He said business has been significantly slower than usual at the restaurant, especially around lunch time.

"It's usually CDC workers we're very familiar with them," Anthony said.

CDC employees are working remotely this week. Anthony said during Monday's lunch, the restaurant had three tables, when usually they only have three or four empty tables.
