IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - The Iowa offensive line is a constant, churning factory, producing 300-plus pound midwestern monsters.
Next in line could be Kade Pieper, a redshirt sophomore from Nebraska who weighs a more “modest” 290 pounds, but more than makes up for it with explosiveness.
“I’ve been around plenty of quote ‘undersized guys’ that played oversized,” said Iowa offensive line coach George Barnett. “He’s gonna be one of those guys.”
Pieper has football strength, but first came farm strength. He built that working for his dad Dennis, growing up in Norfolk, Nebraska.
