The El Paso County Corner's Office has identified Amber Enlow, 33, as the woman who died after being found unresponsive in her cell Friday, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Office on Tuesday.
Enlow was arrested Thursday and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under restraint and driving an unregistered vehicle, according to the daily booking report from the Sheriff's Office. She was arrested July 31 and faced the same charges.
At about 5:40 a.m. Friday, Enlow was found unresponsive in her jail cell and was later pronounced deceased, according to the Sheriff's Office. The release stated that there was no indication of foul play or self-harm. Sheriff Joe Roybal has ordered an "in-depth" investigation into the death.
