ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Roswell police seized more than $750,000 worth of methamphetamine and cocaine last week, the department said.
Police said Customs and Border Protection (CBP) “intercepted” a package from Mexico headed for a Roswell apartment on Aug. 2. The package contained nearly eight kilograms of liquid methamphetamine.
Roswell police helped CBP conduct a sting operation on the apartment on Aug. 7. Detectives delivered the package, then served a search warrant. Police found six more bottles of liquid methamphetamine, crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, ledgers, cellphones, digital scales, and over $10,000 in cash.
The drugs were valued at over $750,000, according to police.
