FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Colorado Rockies' top prospect, Ethan Holliday, is making his professional debut in downtown Fresno.

The No. 4 overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft was assigned to the Fresno Grizzlies on Tuesday morning, with the team announcing he is playing in Tuesday night's game against the Stockton Ports.

Ethan earned his first professional hit with a single to right field in the 3rd inning. He would also earn his first extra-base hit with a double in the 5th inning.

The 18-year-old shortstop was drafted straight out of high school and is currently listed No. 17 on MLB.com's Top 100 prospects list.
