Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Waterbury on Tuesday evening.
Officers responded to a reported collision involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle at the intersection of East Main Street and Baldwin Street around 5:08 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Lt. Ryan Bessette of the Waterbury Police Department .
The motorcycle operator, an adult male, was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, Bessette said. He has not been identified at this time.
The driver of the motor vehicle remained at the scene and was not injured, according to Bessette.
Road closures were in effect in the area of the crash as the Waterbury Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit investigated the incident, Bessette said. Originally Published: August 12, 2025 at
