EUGENE, Ore. – SquareOne Villages has acquired another church property in the Eugene area, continuing their mission of building affordable housing.

Our Redeemer Lutheran Church had their last ministry service back in February and sold their property to SquareOne Villages at well below their market value.

“We sold the property for $ 265,000,” said Sue Walsh, the church's counsel secretary.

And SquareOne actually only bought the side property.

“We donated the church property to them and only sold them the side property,” Walsh said.

Walsh said they were approached by SquareOne Villages three years ago about purchasing a side property of the church. At the time they did not want to sell, but the church has gone through some changes since then.
