MADISON COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — The Madison County Board of Supervisors held a town hall Tuesday evening to hear from residents on whether to welcome the rapidly growing data center industry — and, if so, under what conditions.

Jud Buchanan, vice chair of Madison County Economic Development Board, said that while data centers may seem like a good solution for generating revenue, the scale of development needed is significant.
