Snakes and stones never broke Taylor Swift 's bones.

That's why Zoë Kravitz was mortified when her mom Lisa Bonet 's snake Orpheus got loose in the "You Need to Calm Down" singer's home.

As the Big Little Lies star put it, they were "in a little bit of a pickle" when that happened during a temporary stay at Taylor's place amid the L.A. wildfires earlier this year.

"We ended up having to stay there for about two weeks," Zoë shared on the Aug. 12 episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers , "and Taylor has this beautiful house—it's from the '30s, something you want to preserve and take care of."
