Another top manager has left the North Bay Conservation Authority, The Nugget has learned.
David Sweet, manager of Lands and Stewardship, resigned on Friday. He was in the job for less than five months.

“This was a dream job. I came from an atmosphere where it’s put out or get out and I thought this would be a comfortable job. I truly feel bad for the people who are still there,” he said Tuesday afternoon.
“There’s no leadership. The board runs the conservation authority. The board is a disaster. The communities do not like the conservation authority from Mattawa all the way to Powassan. I don’t know what has happened here in the last four or five years. In my opinion, the conservation authority’s name is mud.”
Sweet said the organization is also saddled with a “bun
