MEMPHIS, Texas (KFDA) - Memphis Cyclones football is loaded with seniors for the 2025 season.
Memphis has featured a lot of underclassmen the last few seasons, but with 10 seniors on this year’s roster, the Cyclones now have experience.
“They’re good leaders,” says Memphis head football coach David Jurado. “It’s a big class for us.”
“Every practice so far... they’re just talking. They’re excited to be around each other, they’re hanging out before practice and after practice, so they’re just coming together and gelling really early... I’m excited to see that.”
While the players are creating their own brotherhood — the Memphis bond is a generational connection.
“My whole family went here, it’s just part of the tradition,” says senior quarterback/linebacker Armando Saenz.
