BUSHLAND, Texas (KFDA) - With a district record of 32-3 in the last nine years, everyone in Texas knows the Bushland Falcons are an athletic powerhouse.
However, after losing 21 seniors last year, the Falcons won’t look the same in 2025.
“We like to think that we’ve built a program to where we don’t have to rebuild just because you lose a big senior class,” head coach Josh Reynolds said. “Plug the next group in there and go, you know? This year is no exception. We’re gonna do the same thing. We trust these guys, we trust these coaches. Our mentality and how we wanna play the game is not going to change.”
Bushland is anticipating as much as 15 new varsity starters, but they’re ready to bring the same trademark toughness that has caused opponents to fear them for years.
