PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A driver in a suspected stolen car led law enforcement on a dangerous chase through the San Fernando Valley Tuesday evening and was later taken into custody after hiding inside a warehouse.

The chase began shortly before 8 p.m. The suspect was driving erratically with the vehicle's lights off, weaving in between lanes and almost hitting multiple innocent drivers. At times, the chase topped speeds over 90 mph.

The chase came to an end shortly before 8:30 p.m. in the Pacoima area when the suspect ran from the vehicle on foot and into a nearby warehouse.

At least two employees ran out of the warehouse as California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles police officers surrounded the building.

The suspect appeared to hide inside, sparking a standoff with police. Br
