A member of an evening cleaning crew at a suburban school was arrested after chasing two juveniles with a knife and threatening them in the school parking lot.

Brandon J. Mumme, a 43-year-old member of a contracted cleaning service that works evenings at Clinton Elementary School in South Elgin, was arrested Friday for pulling a knife and chasing two juveniles after they attempted to take pictures of his license plate, police said.

Around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to Clinton Elementary School, located at 770 Mill Street in South Elgin, for a report of a man who entered the building with a knife, police said.
