MARION, S.D. (KELO) — One couple's passion for drag racing inspired their son to follow in their tracks. But after a heartbreaking loss, they're now on a mission to raise awareness about mental health.
Drag racing runs in the Aaseby family.
"We've been racing for quite a few years, me and my wife," Britt Aaseby said.
It wasn't long before it caught the attention of Britt and Joyce's youngest son, Dylan, when he was just thirteen years old.
"As he grew up, you know, he was at the track with us all the time. As soon as we could get him into a car, we did," Aaseby said. "Like I say, that was his passion."
