SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- DSS is urging SNAP recipients to change their PIN numbers after card skimmers were found at one Sioux Falls Walmart and Dollar General locations.

The Department of Social Services, in a news release said more than 350 SNAP beneficiaries in the Sioux Falls area had their benefits stolen and are urging SNAP recipients to change their PIN numbers immediately.

DSS is urging recipients to change their PIN number, block online and out-of-state transactions, freeze their card until ready for use, and to all review transactions and deposit history. Anyone who thinks their SNAP benefits have been stolen should contact law enforcement.
