The province’s Ministry of Energy and Climate Solutions has announced an additional investment of another $35 million in the CleanBC Industry Fund.

B.C. government says the fund will focus on creating cleaner energy over the next decade while becoming more self-sufficient amid tariffs from the U.S.

The additional $35 million aims to support new industry-led projects this year.

Adrian Dix, B.C.’s Minister of Energy and Climate Solutions, says those projects include electrifying oil and gas operations, capturing carbon at industrial facilities, and improving energy efficiency.

“Through CleanBC, we have laid important groundwork to support cleaner growth across the economy,” the minister said.
