CACHE COUNTY – Balloting in the countywide municipal primary election held Aug. 12 has narrowed the field of hopefuls for the posts of Logan mayor and two at-large seats on the city council.
The survivors of primary balloting for mayor of Logan are incumbent council member Mark A. Anderson with 2,482 votes (66.4 percent of ballots cast by Logan voters) and newcomer Alanna Nafziger with 960 votes (25.68 percent of ballots cast).
Logan voters turned thumbs down on the candidacies of Jerritt T. Bodrero (106 votes for 2.84 percent), Lewis Roesberry (152 votes for 4.07 percent) and Matthew Paul Fatuesi (38 votes for 1.02 percent).
