A prisoner in Washington managed to escape from the custody of Department of Corrections officers while he was being transported through the airport, authorities said. The Washington Department of Corrections and local law enforcement officers are now looking for 20-year-old John Nino who fled from custody while he was being escorted through Seattle-Tacoma International Airport shortly before 8 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a statement from the Washington State Department of Corrections. Nino, who is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 154 pounds, was wearing a red coat and gray sweatpants and officers say they last saw him crossing the railroad tracks and heading towards Highway 99 before he disappeared.
