The 2025 high school boys soccer season has begun and ends with state championships on Nov. 22. There's plenty to prove between now and then, and Fayetteville-area squads return a load of talent that includes record-setting Fayetteville Academy, which went 15-1 last season.

With new conferences creating new rivalries for public schools, all eyes are on Cape Fear, Terry Sanford, and Jack Britt, as the top returning teams in Cumberland County, to see an interesting season unfold.

As we head into the 2025 fall sports season, here's your chance to vote for the 910Preps Boys' Soccer Preseason Player of the Year. The poll closes Monday, Aug. 18, at 6 p.m.
