LIBERTY — A woman arrested Saturday afternoon by Liberty officers after being at the center of a near-accident was released on bond.

Ashley Williams, 41, pleaded not guilty to a charge of aggravated menacing after appearing in Girard Municipal Court on Monday morning.

According to the police report, officers were called to Mansell Drive about a “road rage” incident involving a firearm, where dispatchers said the victim, a woman, was almost struck by another vehicle. The vehicle was identified as a white Volkswagen Tiguan, with the license plate being discerned by an officer who was familiar with it from previous calls to service.
