FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (WABC) -- New York City police officers shot one suspect and are searching for another following an exchange of gunfire in Flatbush on Tuesday night.
The shooting happened at 533 Ocean Ave. in Flatbush shortly after 7:30 p.m.
Police say the two suspected shooters turned a busy intersection into the Wild West and residents woke up Wednesday to find bullet holes in their cars and shell casings underneath.
"You never know - like a bullet, stray bullet could have ricochet and hit somebody. It's just ridiculous," said Flatbush resident Dimitry Principale, whochecked his father's car for bullet holes.
