SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Get ready for another warm day!

A Heat Advisory will be in effect from 11AM until 6PM. Heat index values could approach 110 degrees this afternoon, be safe and drink plenty of water!

Starting out the day, it’s already muggy and warm. Temperatures are starting out in the upper 70s to lower 80s, but we will remain dry through the morning commute. Temperatures will climb to about 90 degrees at lunchtime with heat index values already near 100 degrees. Highs will be in the lower 90s as heat index values will be well over 100 degrees for coastal communities. The early afternoon will be mostly dry, but showers and storms will be possible for inland communities late this afternoon into the evening.
