When it comes to sharing the area around our homes, it would be great if we could all see eye to eye. But as many people will know all too well, this isn't always the case, and neighbours can clash over various matters.
Borders and boundaries are often shared with other households and your actions, or lack thereof, in the garden may have consequences for them. For instance, if you fail to maintain your hedges, this can reduce the sunlight reaching their property and limit the view from their windows.
So what are your rights, when do you need to cut your hedges, and when you can your neighbours take action themselves? Government guidance recommends that initially, any neighbours with a grievance should attempt to res
