(WOWT) - The search for a missing 23-year-old man from Omaha is underway.

In a release posted Tuesday, officials say rangers at Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado are searching for Blake Kieckhafer.

Kieckhafer was last seen at about 5:20 p.m. Thursday, August 7 in the area of the Upper Beaver Meadows at the park, the release states. He was reported as missing on Monday.

“Upper Beaver Meadows Road is located approximately 1-mile west of Beaver Meadows Entrance along U.S. Highway 36 on the east side of the park,” the release says.

According to authorities, he was being dropped off by a ride share service and wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, dark-colored pants, and a dark-colored baseball cap without a logo. He was last seen carrying a small, maroon daypack.
