Lilian Chen, 24, who lives in Mississauga, Ont., said she has dreamed of running her own business since she was a kid.

After an unsuccessful foray at a handmade crafts business, Chen started a new venture while she was in her first year of university in 2019. She sold enamel pins and stickers that she outsourced to manufacturers to mass produce.

Her business, Duluduludesign, has grown to include items ranging from stationery and accessories to frog-themed cardigans, strawberry bags and tulip clocks.
