Edinburgh cricket club gave themselves a huge boost ahead of Sunday’s Scottish Challenge Cup 50-overs-a-side final against Greenock at Stenhousemuir.
The Campbell Park-based club captured the Braw Skelp, an annual 20-overs-a-side competition by beating Marchmont at Newfield.
The Braw Skelp is run by the East of Scotland Cricket Association and is one level below the Masterton Trophy.
In the semi-finals, played on the same day, Edinburgh defeated Tranent and Preston Village while Marchmont overcame Dunfermline Carnegie.
To reach the Challenge Cup final Edinburgh saw off Morton in the semi-final.
