Four inmates across two Nevada State Prisons died in suspected homicides in July and August.
According to the Nevada Department of Corrections, the homicides happened in different housing units and appear unrelated.
Three of the inmates died at High Desert State Prison. and have been identified as 35-year-old Jacob Herman, who died on July 16, 34-year-old Jordan Canteberry, who died on July 26, and 18-year-old Dmarea Wallace, who died on August 6.
One inmate, identified as 35-year-old Ryan Warren-Hunt, died at the Southern Desert Correctional Center on August 11.
NDOC officials suspect drug debt as a motivating factor in the homicides.
