The Nevada Department of Corrections is investigating four suspected inmate homicides at two state prisons since mid-July.

Three deaths occurred at High Desert State Prison in Indian Springs:

Jacob Herman , 35, died July 16 — he was serving 12 to 36 months for larceny. He came to NDOC in May 2024.

Jordan Canteberry , 34, died July 26 — he was serving 12 to 30 months for robbery and possession of a firearm by an ex-felon. He came to NDOC in June.

Dmarea Wallace , 18, died Aug. 6 — he was serving 36 to 96 months for robbery. He came to NDOC in December 2023.

The fourth, Ryan Warren-Hunt , 35, died Aug. 11 at Southern Desert Correctional Center. He was serving 192 to 900 months for burglary with a firearm, robbery and conspiracy to commit a violent crime with a deadly weapon. He cam
