MOORHEAD, Minn. — Two Moorhead, Minnesota, moms fighting to bring mental health support for children: that’s how Clay County Commissioner Jenny Mongeau and Minnesota Rep. Heather Keeler describe themselves.

For the last few years, the pair has been working to bring a psychiatric residential treatment facility to Moorhead, which would treat people under the age of 21 with complex mental health needs.
