Another up-and-down practice spells trouble for Justin Fields

When the Chicago Bears selected quarterback Justin Fields with the 11th overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft , they thought that they were finally getting their long-awaited franchise quarterback. In fact, they believed in him so much that they actually traded up from the 19 th overall pick, giving up a future first-round selection and more to do so. Fields looked the part of a budding superstar early on in Chicago but by the 2023 season he was on his way out.
