PARADISE, Calif. - The Paradise Recreation and Park District (PRPD) Board of Directors is set to review a significant report from the National Park Service (NPS) during its regular board meeting on August 13 at 6 p.m.

The report is the result of a four-year collaboration between PRPD and the NPS, focusing on a Regional Trails network on the Ridge that links to other trails in Butte County.

In 2021, the PRPD received the Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance (RTCA) Grant from the NPS. Officials say the grant aimed to explore possibilities for trail expansion both within the district and beyond.
