Two arrested as police swoop on shop in drugs raid

Two people have been arrested as part of a drugs investigation in Bristol.

Officers from the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU) are searching the property on Church Road, Redfield, as part of a drugs investigation.

Two men have been arrested at other locations on suspicion of drugs importation and class B drugs supply, as well as money laundering offences.

They both remain in custody.

According to reports, a cordon is in place at Mr Exclusive Drinks on Church Road.

A spokesperson for SWROCU said: "I can confirm the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU) is currently searching a premises in Redfield, Bristol, as part of an investigation into drug supply.
