Opp head coach Ed Rigby says there are two objectives for the Bobcats this season – preparing for week 11 and pursuing a historical goal of a third-round state playoff win.

“We will probably start, like most of my teams, a little slow out of the gate because we are in that week 11 build up – to be able to make a run in the playoffs and go somewhere Opp has never been before,” Rigby said.

“Opp has never won a third-round football game in the history of the program, so we want to go somewhere Opp has never been, but it starts with getting better from week zero to week 10 and win the games that matter in between to get to week 11.

“It is about week 11 – preparing to get better for week 11.”
