WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4) — A home in West Valley City caught fire early Wednesday morning, leaving three people displaced.
Shortly after 2 a.m., crews with the West Valley City Fire Department responded to a house fire in the area of 3500 South and 3200 West.
According to Scott Hall, a Battalion Chief with the West Valley City Fire Department, crews arrived to the home being engulfed in flames. It took just 20 minutes for crews to extinguish the blaze. However, the home was a total loss.
The home's three residents were able to make it out unharmed before any significant damage was done. Hall also told ABC4 that no firefighters were injured during the incident.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, but is under investigation.
