A-level results day is a milestone moment for students across the Midlands but it can also be a rollercoaster of emotions.

This is the time when young people find out whether or not their hard work has paid off.

The envelope can bring joy and pride but it can also cause disappointment and regret, even guilt for some who do better than their friends.
