Police say they are looking to speak with the driver of a pickup truck in an otherwise scantly detailed release about a Pelham collision investigation sent out late Tuesday night.

At 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, Niagara Regional Police went to the area of a Welland Road and Effingham Street for a reported collision.

In a release sent out after 11:30 p.m., police said detectives are hoping to speak with the driver of a white Dodge Ram pickup truck. They said there were also looking to identify the owner of a silver Giant women’s hybrid bicycle.

Just before 9 a.m. Wednesday, police put out an update saying they have since identified the owner of the bicycle.
