Jerry Santucci was cycling to visit his sister when, out of nowhere, he saw a naked man running toward him.
“I’m thinking where is this guy coming from, it’s all industrial,” he said of the area on Kenilworth Avenue, near Nikola Tesla Boulevard, where he was cycling the afternoon of July 27.
Santucci, who estimates he was travelling maybe 15 to 20 kilometres an hour, moved to the left — almost onto the Nikola Tesla ramp — to avoid the man, who was running on the right shoulder of Kenilworth.
“All of a sudden, he just came across and hit me and knocked me off my bike,” said Santucci, who is in his 60s.
