Kellogg Community College is offering computer-aided drafting and design instruction at its Eastern Academic Center in Albion for the first time this fall, according to a community announcement.

The program includes a foundational course, DRAF 101: Engineering Graphics, which is a four-credit class that serves as an introduction for students pursuing an associate in applied science degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design Technology.

The course is scheduled to run from 6 to 9:15 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting Sept. 2 and ending Dec. 11, according to the announcement.

The class will be held in a newly established CAD Lab, equipped with the latest hardware and software, thanks to grant funding from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
