The citation says Jayden’s mother, Felicia Gross, admitted to giving him a type of sleeping medication, believing it caused a fatal medical emergency.
She told investigators she then took his body to a wooded area on Canoe Road near Joe Little Fork, where it was buried in a plastic tote.
Kentucky State Police says Jayden’s remains were found there on Tuesday and sent to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
Gross is now charged with manslaughter, abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, and falsely reporting.
She is being held at the Kentucky River
