LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Jayden Spicer’s aunts, Samantha Brunty and Chyy Saylers, said the days leading up to the finding of his body on Tuesday were some of the hardest days of their lives.
Saylers said they worked closely with the Kentucky State Police to help during the search.
“I just hope and pray that that baby has his final moments of resting and everybody can know that he is safe,” Salyers said.
His aunts said the outpouring of community support has helped them to make it through this tough time.
They both said they felt like showing up for Wednesday’s community vigil was important.
“It’s a nightmare, I just feel like I can’t wake up from it, it doesn’t feel real,” Brunty said.
They also brought Jayden’s cousins and siblings to help them in their healing journey.
