EARLINGTON, Ky. (WEVV) — Kentucky State Police are investigating the death of a 10-month-old infant in Earlington, which has led to the arrest of two individuals.

The infant was found deceased at the home of the child's caretakers, with the Hopkins County Coroner pronouncing the death.

Following an autopsy, authorities determined foul play was involved.

27-year-old Samantha Stagner and 29-year-old Dayton Mason were arrested in connection to the infant's death.

They have been charged with first-degree manslaughter and are being held at the Hopkins County Detention Center.
