Springfield shooting leaves man injured; getaway car found in Enfield, Conn.

SPRINGFIELD — A man was injured in a shooting on Burr Street on Tuesday night.

The victim, who is expected to recover from his injuries, was taken to Baystate Medical Center by ambulance for treatment, said Ryan Walsh, police spokesman.

The shooting took place at about 7:55 p.m. in the neighborhood between Bay and State streets, he said.
